Thruster longboards?

Can you hang ten on one of these setups (around 9 feet long), if you had large fins, perhaps MR-TFX or PG-7s? Or do you really need a single fin for that type of feat?

If you have skills yes .

the more surface area the fin has the more hold you get, so it will be easier with a larger fin, which is why they are used for nose riding, but if you are a ripper and weigh 120 lbs go for it… whats the worst that can happen?

What is the worst that can happen? Check the opening scene of surfs up, 20ft solid wood longboard on the head causing permanent brain damage…

 

Oh, and BTW, I’ve nose ridden a 6’2" shortie thruster, albeit not for very long. Hang 5’s are pretty easy though…

Sure it can be done.  Why not? You can nose ride hang ten on almost anything.  I have witnessed a quick ten done on a fish.  What would be the reason you would wish to nose ride with a thruster set up?
