Thruster set-up for Longboard

I had my first longboard (9’) shaped for me awhile back. The shaper had been making my shortboards for years and he was getting into shaping longer boards, so I had one made. It is pulled in pretty tight in the tail (13.5") since I wanted somehng a little more “rippable”. It is setup as a thruster, not as a box and sidebites. There are fcs plugs on the side and in middle are plugs setup so you can place the fin in forward or closer to the tail. The fins I have been using are FCS G5’s. Since I have never ridden longboards, is this setup o.k.? Input on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
