Thruster to Single Fin Stinger.

Food for thought.

Any thoughts on converting a pretty meaty older style thruster into a single fin stinger. Australia day at my local we have a single fin comp. Last year i rode an old stringerless klemm bell in one heat and jumped on a Rabbigge Stinger the next - it felt great. So i have been thinking without going the whole hogg and perhaps I could create a single fin stinger from a thruster. Idea being take to it with the saw and cut a big flyer into the tail - reglass the rails and add a box fin.

Arvo beers a bit of tinkering and hopefully a revamped board..

 

Thoughts?

where's the comp at ??? and dont you have to ride boards before a cetain year ???
