hi guys !

 

  just wanted to say

 

I reckon you guys are a class act !

 

I have never met you , yet ,  [unfortunately] ....

 

 .... but , from reading back over your posts here , and seeing your occassional photos , you certainly seem to me to be a nice blend of creativity , expertise , maybe throw in ? some "eccentricity" ??  [ which is always GOOD , in my books ! :)  ]  ,  and that is all combined with what to me seems like a healthy dose of not taking it all  [or yourselves !] "too" seriously !

 

 .... keep up the good work , guys !

 

I know that 'hicksy' certainly really enjoyed his time with you there , Amby !

  perhaps you [two] could do standup [comedy , not paddleboarding ?] together , when 'retirement'  [if ever] approaches , one day

....not that we ever retire from surfing / being surfers , mind you ?!

O ’ give me a poem

where the mongoose don’ roam

and the cats and the shama thrush doth play

where rarely is heard an european skylark

and a good day has rain intermittently.

there’s an island

a secret island 

where the balsa drinx

of atmospheric wine

harvested ffrom

the long clouds

of the mid pacific high

by the day the become fatter

and the resonance is like

a un- ripe melon now

and only the Ogre will decide

who what where when why and how.

  I reckon it would be an interesting alternative to

 

"oi ! MY WAVE"

 

 or

 

"coming down !"
