I’m in the process of making a board out of the xps foam you get at your local home improvement store (blue dow chemical R4 - 4 sheets of 3/4"). The glue up so far is alright and the foam is holding my rocker. Anyway my question: What is your experience in using glass on fins (nothing fancy, just regular glass ons) with epoxy resin. I started thinking about it and I wasn’t sure that epoxy resin would bond well to the polyurethane based fins. Is it a concern? Since this board is really just an experiment I was just thinking of using some left over glass ons as opposed to the more expensive, fin system type. I also want to try out your resin with the F additive. I’m in New Smryna Beach and can’t get out of work during the week to drive down south. Would you guys down there do a C.O.D. or should I send a certified check or something? thanks for any info., mike d.
We ship UPS everyday. COD is our prefered method, so no problem there. You can call Sam @321-779-2369 or you can call me @ 321-223-5276 to place orders or through e-mail @ . As for glassing on, I think you’ll be OK just rough up the surface with some 50 or 60 grit sandpaper.
