Okay, I am debating whether to seal my skimboard. It is EPS, which is softer than the divinycell used in most high end skimboards (Some use PU), plus it is only 3/4" thick, so I was thinking that it would be better to let the epoxy soak in a little bit, as I was reading this makes for a stronger, albet heavier board (At this size the weight shouldn’t be much of an issue). What do you think? If I have to buy more resin that is okay, I just want my board to be strong and not have any delam problems. I have read some people saying spackle is fine on here, and other saying its the worst thing you could possibly put on your board, so I’m a little torn. Also, what about painting, I am very interested in the sharpie technique shown in a recent thread. How is it done?
Thanks,
Nathan
