Tom Blake’s “The Makaha Wedge”, 1954. Every time I look at this board and note the nose lift, clean curvy template into the swallowtail, and forward placed almost modern looking speed fin…makes it obvious Tom was certainly a forward thinker…
yep that board is definitely ahead of the rest.
although another well known innovator wasnt far behind…
