Great interview…thanks for bringing it to our attention. A lot of what he says is so true…we are on the way to losing surfing’s soul. I remember when he was an up and coming shaper…you could order a board from him for like $130. Another memory of Tom Parrish I have as a grom was watching solid 8-10 ft. Pipe. This guy tears up a wave backside, loses his board. I pull it up the beach as it washes in and stick it in the sand. He comes in, thanks me and paddles right back out like it he was surfing some small beach break. The guy could surf for sure.
