Too pretty to glass *PIC*

David, The board is glassed, the fin is tacked on so it should be completely finished on Friday. I won’t be able to get down to pick it up for a week. What a week that will be - I’m already knee deep in drool. I’m sure Gregg will relate. I’ll post pics upon my return.

Tinker, Those boards sound interesting… and more so after Jim Phillips story. I’d like to get a look at them. Can you post them here? Eric J (NY)

Howzit Greg, Beautiful board, I hope you don’t run into the same problem I have lately with 3 stringer blanks. I’ve glassed 3 3stringer boards in the last couple of weeks and they all blew gas on me. They’re blowing the gas right next to the stringers, a real pain in the glass. When are we going to see you on Kauai again? Aloha, Kokua

jim ,you should write a book, i’d buy it.

In those mid sixties, there was so much going on, it seemed like there were more characters than citizens and each character has his own story.

jim, great story! pretty cool u had an expert there to help u out. sometimes i wish my dad was an expert shaper,a dn could teach me…but he sells garage doors. i also wish there was someone around i could watch or sweep floors for…but i live an hour inland, and noone shapes here. but once i egt my liscence, i’m gonna egt hooked up with a company down in daytona area, and try to soak in as much knowledge possible daily. great story dj

Hey Wildog! ASAP! Most likely around May. We’ll stop by again for sure.

So your Dad’s not an expert shaper, but he has more wisdom than you can imagine. Don’t let a word he says fall on deaf ears, you’ll regret it in the years to come. I do anything to hear my Dad’s voice one more time
