Working on a lis inspired keel fish, I’ve read some conflicting opinions in the sway archives. Does anyone think the attached is too wide? I’m 6’3" 180lbs and wear a 5/4/3 year round. I built a 6’8" and should have taken the advice of people on here. Its too large and cumbersome, so I am scaling it back.
FWIW, I have no problem laying my longboard over on its rail and that is 23 1/4" wide.

jmyerz, im 5’10, and 190 ish lb’s. My fish is 6’2’’ x 22 x 3. It is technically too much volume for me, but ( i love it, my most fave board ever )the heavy glass job saves it from being corky, and gives it sweet drive, and glide. I love mine, and being taller, i think you’ll be fine. Please post a pic, i’d love to see it.
Agree. I’m 6’1" and my fish is 6’6" 3.5" thick poly and it works great for me.
