Tri Fin

**Funny had a talk to day about how much trouble "swallows" are shaping and glassing.**

**Great stuff!**

**Aloha!**

Hi  Greg, whats your itinery for europe ? will you be making any boards in the uk? pete

France , last week of April looks like .

Hey GG, cool stuff as usual comments from this side of the peanut gallery.

Have you tried the tri set up on any narrower-tailed hpsb type outlines? Remembering when “some people” used really tight clusters on thrusters, it seems like there might be something worth trying there…

This set up is aimed at the Mini Simms market that use twins on the rail very far back to deal with the extreme tail width . Al’s board was a special order with its narrower tail.

These fins are further up and use smaller tapering  templates to reduce resistance to rolling into turns - not ride so flat - with the use of an added center fin .

Its my shortboard twin supercharged by an extra fin and tail width :-)

On narrower tails I feel having front and rear fins are best while twins work great at certin tail widths .

I like yours a lot better than the regular mini-simms.

As those designs have become popular, it’s interesting to see them “evolve” by adding wingers or other forms of tail curve; eventually they start to look like surfboards and work better.

You just skipped that step and gave your customers something that works to start with. Good on ya.
