Trying to source HD PU sheet in colors

I had long ago written down on a napkin, recently found, that US Blanks sold it in 12 inch by 0.5 inch strips.  Maybe 8 feet long?  Used for T-bands.  But they categorically deny this. Does anyone know if this is available anywhere?  I’m building a longboard to be skinned in wood and would like to wrap the rails with this stuff and add some color.  I’d appreciate any help.

arctic is making colored foam blanks don’t know about sheets though

we just use blue dow which is a common technique
