There’s a lot of talk about quads. You either love them or hate them, kinda like what I hear about eps boards! I love all mine, from the shortboards to the fishes. Open your minds to try new things, and you just might have some fun!
i tried a high performance shortboard quad and didn’t either love it or hate it…it just felt different. that’s all.

yeah, the bond between surfer and board, has a lot of similarities to dating! depending on your mood, and frame of mind, can effect that intimate closeness!
I was a devoted 3 finner for 25 years…then with the newer multifins I cant imagine using anything else in avg beachies. Three finners seem slow in comparison. Dont know enough about how things go in epic conditions, dont get the opportunity much.
Haven’t tried a quad yet, but I’m looking forward to it.

I saw a beautiful blue quad with blck pinlines that you shaped, sitting over at the Grotto in the used boards section a while back. I blazed home to get some cash, and the thing was gone before I could buy it. Let’s just say I was bummed.
