Can anyone update me on U.S. domestic board charges? I’m headed to Hawaii at the end of October and it looks like the charges went up. So far I see $85.00 one way for less than 9’ and $185.00 for over 9’. Maybe it’s time to sell a couple of boards on this end and go see Robin Mair (Handshaper). I’ve heard that you can just tell them its 9’ regardless.
Thanks for any and all help

Depends on the airline. Which one are you flying with?
United – non-stop L.A. - Lihue

Howzit Skip, When are you coming to Kauai, are you staying on the North Shore? Call me I'm here in Pville still. Aloha,Kokua
Skip,
Consider your resourcees on Kauai. There is a gentleman there who lives in Kapa’a on the way to Hanalei who has many wave riding vehicles that he would likely be glad to rent. Resides behind the bright yellow building that says AMBROSE on the side.

the resource in the yard includes the travel board
that needs to go back to the mainland

Aloha Skip:
Ambrose also had a new board of mine very much like the one that Al is riding at the moment. He did not mention it so maybe it has been sold already. It is around 10’ 3" I think more of a cruising gun.
Just finished shaping a 12’ 6" balsa gun if you want to see something really scary!
Hope we get to see you this trip!
