UDT, josh here is some info

UDT’s are 22inches long…i would definitely get a pair if you like to bodysurf josh. im thinking to getting a couple of pairs in case they stop being made again.

Thanks Mick!

When my calfs strengthen up more and i get a little older I’ll probably get a set. i’m liking my flexy fins at the moment too.

have fun.

how do they compare to churchills, or duck feet?

I’ve heard from everyone whos tried them they kick churchill and shorter fins rear end.

I wear flexier, softer but long fins and they feel alot better than bodyboarding fins.

About 3-4" longer than Duckfeet, but like Ducks, can be softer or harder depending what you order…

Much bigger and more powerful than Churchills of any model, you get superior acceleration and super easy cruising speed…at the expense of quickness, turning, and manueverability turning around for waves.

Much harder on your quads, you gotta get in shape, or dole out the power in small increments, since UDT’s are about the most efficient fins on the market.

Better for the sprinter type body, much more tiring for the rats in a cage who can move forever without expending tons of energy.

With all that size, much superior wave riding, more speed, more glide…

I find best for riding long point style waves, where lotsa little turns don’t matter.

that help? Those are older type UDTs, similar compounds, my new ones are identically sized.

You’ll note which has the fin leash and which doesn’t, which I use and which I don’t. I like 'em, considerably. Power, cruise, accelleration.

Conditioning to use 'em, well, ride a bike with toe clips and walk in lots of sand for long distances. Carry heavy stuff up ladders daily. Lately, push lots of wheelbarrows uphill, heavy laden with firewood.

Works for me.

To turn fast? lean up on one side and slam around. Or, sitting on a board, turning is so fast it’s silly.

hope that’s of use

yeah, thanks.

so where can I find some? I’m assuming they’re not just gunna be all over the place if it takes lots of extra conditioning to use…

Go to the source… for pricing and more info on the new

As Dale says, get 'em from the man himself.

As for extra conditioning, I’m just pulling a few legs here. Look, I’m well into my 52nd year, working stiff, blue collar and such. And I find the UDTs to be no problem at all. Indeed smaller fins feel like no fins at all.

If you spend all day every day keeping a chair from blowing away and can’t ride a bicycle uphill without feeling like you’re about to die, you might need conditioning stuff. Working on some distance swimming with the UDTs would be a good idea before you croak of a heart attack, otherwise don’t sweat it.
