I have just made the ugliest outline I could have ever imagined.
It’s (going to be) a bonzer.
It has 15" nose, 20 inch at widest point (wide point 2.5" forward), 15.5" tail.
It sort of resembles a McCoy nugget, except it will have a bonzer setup.
It will have about 3.75, maybe 4" nose rocker, 1.75", maybe 2" tail rocker, the usual deep bonzer concaves. usual semi-hard rails, harder rails than a traditional single fin, softer than today’s performance thruster. Sort of in between the two.
Intended for mid-range waves and reefbreaks for my annual trip to Puerto Rico. Judging by the outline, I may reconsider.
Those dimentions sound good. there is no reason why that should look ugly, unless you don’t have smooth flowing lines… My Bonzer is 15" nose x 21." wide x 15 tail with e-wings. maybe it is ugly to some but I don’t think so…
Well I took away some thickness in the nose so it’s slightly more “pointy”. At first it was a completely rounded nose, now it resembles the nose on the bonzer that Shipman just attached.
I think the reason it looked ugly at first is because I hadn’t shaped it or anything. It was just the outline of it.
