It’s called “Texalium” and it’s basically an aluminum finish to otherwise standard glass fiber. I’ve heard that it doesn’t increase strength in any way and I’ve also heard of oxydation problems leading to delaminations… Anybody else got infos?
yep it is texaluium
it is an alumimum coat glass fabric it comes in alumimum , gold, blue and tungson colours you can find out more at the web site www.fibreglast.com
i have used it before
it is weaker in impact and can delaminate
your beter off using it as a finishing layer

I was looking at that stuff before and was thinking of using it to make fins.
Never mind, just looked at the price $39.95 a yard, I rather just but fins already made
