I was told this stuff was bombproof and would be great to cover over some artwork on my board. Anyone else used it? I’m questioning its durability in saltwater before i try it… THANKS brian
Brian, I use it a lot to cover art work thats painted on the sanded hot coat. UPOL is a 2 part spray that auto manufactures use as a clear coat. It’s extremely tough and flexible. It polishes out nicely too. It comes in a hi tech spray can. But with any artwork, I’d try a test sample first to make sure it doesn’t ruin anything. I’ve had really good luck with it, the only draw back is that it is kind of expensive, about $15.00, but no more expensive than gloss coat. 1 can will do 5 boards or more. It’s like the other post, so you spend 10 hrs on artwork and pinlines, don’t pull up short for a couple of bucks. -Jay
