using a softer HD EPS. How many layers of cloth should i use?

I bought some HD EPS  Expanded Polystyrene Insulation from home depot for $22. it seems a bit softer then the eps ive used on my first couple boards. i put one layer of 6 oz cloth on the bottom and 2 on the top on my last board, im working on a 7’6" egg/funboard and i was thinking of putting 2 on the bottom and 3 layers on the top useing this softer eps, but it seems like its over kill. should i go 2 and 2 with a good hot coat or will i regret not putting that third layer on top?

I’ve glassed double 6oz top and bottom over crappy home depot EPS with resin research epoxy and it’s really strong.  Also done tripple 4oz top and bottom over medium-crappy insulation EPS with wood rails with really strong results.  Finishing another tripple 4oz top and bottom over ultra-crap home depot insulation EPS right now.  Still need to hot coat, but it feels solid so far and it isn’t tooooo heavy.  I’m no expert by any means, but from the few boards I’ve made 12oz total per side with epoxy is fine, even over janky foam.

perfect, thanks. i was just worried about heel indents and what not. my second top layer just dryed and ya feels pretty good. after the hot coat she should be solid oak.
