Uv cure did not fully Kick???

I am new to making boards. I have only laminated about five boards all with Uv Cure cause it gives me time! Hot coats I mix with reg cat and wax and have had good results. But today I mixed my normal Uv to my poly resin to laminate the bottom of my new board and it didn’t kick fully. It was slowly kicking but not like normal. My question is will it continue to harden overnight. And if it doesn’t am I drained?

I use UV poly resin as well.  Did you put any pigment in your lam resin?  If so you need to also add catalyst because UV light wont penetrate all the way through pigmented resin.  Stick it back out in the sun tomorrow for a while and hopefully it kicks all the way through.  Also, did you use enough of the magic green UV powder?  Sorry but I cant answer your last questions definately.  good luck.

I will be useing more magic powder next time thank you for helping me out. hard to sleep tonight! ha ha

I know man.  Surfboards building issues give me anxiety too lol.  I’m trying to learn how to “roll with the punches” as they say.  Live an learn.  I’m still curious, did you use pigmented resin or was it a clear lam?

Clear lam… I need to get more accurate on my measurements.

Better to have too much UVP than not enough.

It has given me a few frights too, as surfer O said give it some quality time in full sun and it should kick.
