I applied some of that solar/u.v. epoxy stuff to a ding a little before sunset. I thought I had enough time, and it was in the sun for a good 15 minutes or so. It’s still tacky/never kicked. I’ve used this stuff (from the same tube) before and had no problem.
Either the sun wasn’t strong enough (late day sun), or maybe something happened to the epoxy since it occassionally will sit in my car (in a bag/never in direct sunlight) for a couple days at a time.
The kit came with a clear piece of plastic that goes over the epoxy to help it form to the shape of the board. I’ve got that on there still and suran wrapp over that to hold everything in place and plan to stick it in the sun again tomorrow as it is.
Any idea if this will work, or any better ideas? Is my epoxy no good?
