vac bag vs non vac rocker bend

So before I glass my next board - I have been thinking. In both instances the EPS blank is bent under lamination to a desired rocker, being vac bag and rocker table or conversaly bent to desired rocker by other measures.

Both instances the board is being loaded up or forced into that curve from its natural position.

I can uderstand the theory behind vac bagging being the gold standard and the added strength that comes with a compsand but with a good glass job a rocker that has been bent into shape during a hand lam should still be fairly reliable, yes?

bee, Generally its probably better for the eps to be hotwired/shaped to the desired rocker so when you bag or hand laminate it will be in a relaxed state. You can alter the rocker from this point but I believe the properties of the eps will be better realized if the blank isn’t forced into a given rocker. Just my two cents.
