Hey i make long board skate board and i never really figured out a way on how to paint a design and keep it on i researched and found out possibly vacuum bagging has anyone ever done this on a skateboard?
Vacuum bagging should only be done in the workshop…never on a skateboard.

No need to vacbag. I just covered my design with a sheet of 4oz glass…
Thanks for your help guys what type of glass did you use
Unless you’re looking to get into skateboard production the cost of a vac pump and bag, plus the hassle isn’t worth it.
You can just wrap the deck with 4 oz or 6 oz glass and use Epoxy resin.
6 oz. will make your skateboard stiffer than 4 oz. It all depends on how you want it to ride…
Hope this helps

Thanks so much, say if i like wanted to put a picture on that would i need to put something over it before i glass is, in other words will the class ruin the picture/smear any paints?
As long as the paint is dry the glass and epoxy won’t affect it. Use acrylic paint.
You can also print your artwork on ricepaper and laminate that right to the skateboard before putting fiberglass on top.
