Hi, I’m thinking about getting the equipment for vacuum bagging to try it out on my next project, whatever that might be. I’m wondering how you use it, do you glass as normal, squeegee out the resin and then put it in the bag and apply pressure? Or could you just leave the resin floating around and put vacuum on and it would work the resin into the cloth? regards, Håvard
Havard, I never done this before. Once I saw a video of building kitboard using vaccum bagging, the guy squeezed out excess resin before putting into bagging. Its seldom hear people surfbuild board out of bagging. Perphaps epoxy board is still minority. REgards Crabie
