If you can’t find a cheaper non-digital vac controller that can handle 240 volts (also probably more expensive) then all you need to do is find the right relay, or build your own the old fashioned way.
You should have no problem finding a vacuum switch in the rating you need. I’m sure the switch on the joewoodworker site could handle 240vac at a lower amp rating. Amps are the important spec. The rating is really how beefy the contacts of the switch are. Sort of like you’d run a larger guage wire for something that draws more amps. The vacuum just seperates the contacts to disconnect the switch.
Go to eBay and do a search for “Vacuum Switch” (not vacuum controller) to get an idea who is making vacuum switches. Then you know the companies that make them and that should help in your search.
i just recently had to locate all the systems i would need to create a production set up somewhere else , man what a nightmare , 9 out of 10 people i rang had no idea what i was even talking about let alone having what i needed …
just think one day , youll be able to walk into your local surfboard material wholesale shop and all this stuff will be on the shelf …(if someone wakes up to the potential )
I have one new in box that I got from joewoodworker that I didn’t wind up using. Dunno how much shipping would run to Auz, but I’d let it go for $20 USD, or a trade for some cool uniquely australian surfing loot. PM me if you’re not set up yet.
