I have a 9’6 Takayama volan glass double ender longboard (signed by Donald himself) that I might be selling and I don’t know how much to ask for it. Any help would be appreciated.
Depending on the condition, I’d say you could get $1000 if it’s in good condition, maybe more. The value will be what someone is willing to pay. Seems like new Takayama’s are very pricey, making a used one in good condition that more desirable.
Aloha,
just to give u an idea/ballpark. a japanese tourist wanted to give me $2000 cash for my Donald Takayama double ender. I believe Donald signed all his Double ender models. When was the board made? because most to all boards from Donald now, come from a machine and finished by a ghost shaper. Its very rare to have Donald shape one for you now, unless your one of the team riders or willing to wait a long time for his handcrafted longboards.
Let me know what you want for your board? I may buy it from you (depends on condition)
Have a good one
Thanks for the replies guys. Manoa, the board was meade approx in 2002/2004, it’s lime green/yellow and it’s in almost mint condition, except for the usual (light) pressure dings on the deck at th eknee level and one or two penny sized cracks on the rails (they’re water tight), other than that it’s never been dinged and or repaired. A local shop told me I could get 1200/1500 for it, but at this point I might sell it on ebay and make it available to Japan and see what happens. Are you sure you would pay the shipping from NC to Hawaii? That would be a lot!
hello, I know this is an OLD thread but I was wondering how much a signed Donald double ender is worth in perfect condition today?
I’ve seen some listed for ridiculous prices, and others in the $600-800 range.
Any help is appreciated! thanks,
