so ,if I could submit a humble suggestion,
beyond the lowball levity offered
by my esteemed collegues,
Take the board ,well packed,
to san clemente for apprasial
perhaps the surfing heritage museum is
to be the best final resting place
for this fine and respected historic
implement.Though it is not the first or the last
the obvious respect paid to the owner
by signatures of memorable and respected historic
personas it should be protected.
Protected? from covetess and green polution.
there is likely to be somebody to pay you handsomely and
donate it to the museum… foundations with big endowments
are your best hope. After the appraisal allow them to take possession for a specific
amount of time ,get signatures and insurance and paperwork as the value of pieces like this are exponential.
If You Do sell this board
draw an agreement that if the board is sold
within ten years of your selling it ,you get half
of the profit over which you are paid.
A reasonable deal for all concerned
as the progressive nature of the win win
transaction is to be fair and not adversarial…
…ambrose…
Insure this board
