I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good place to rent a board in San Diego. I’ll be there for a visit, and I’m not familiar at all with the area. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Depends on what part of SD you’re gonna be in. Downtown? WIll you have a car? There’s a ton of places. Let me know where you’ll be and I can narrow it down.

Bob’s Mission Surf, on Mission Blvd in P.B. has boards and Bob’s a good guy also.
Bob’s is a good choice. I’d go there, if that’s the area you’ll be in.
You would be silly to go anywhere else but Mitch’s in La Jolla on Pearl – guy has sooo many board. Last time I was there I rented a 10’ plus Velzy!
