I was at a friend’s recently and he showed me this board - very old looking. I was wondering if anybody has any knowledge about this brand, and if this particular board was a one off, or maybe a cutdown of a broken board.
That is a 1960s paipo/bellyboard. Certainly not a longer board that was cut down. While I have no knowledge of the brand to impart, I would guess that it was built by one of the popout companies of the era. This is based on the crude shape.
Other participants here have a greater knowledge of old paipos. They might be able to shed more light.
Do you know anything about the chain of ownership? Where it was acquired?
