Anyone going??? Just found out it’s the morning that I land in Sydney and I’ll be stopping in cronulla to start my new life down under…I’ll be the bleary eyed pom looking sunburnt by lunchtime…don’t land till 6.30am that morning following a 23 hr flight with 3 whipper snappers under 7yrs in tow. Going to be hard to stay awake but I’ll bust a gut to get along…will only have one fish with me but it’s the one I’ve just made for my fresh start…hope to catch some of you there.

Good mix of local board builders and some from afar.
Local shaper Stuart Paterson (PCC) is also having an exhibition of single fins, midlengths and logs on September 21. I have seen a couple of the boards and the shapes and glass work are impeccable.
I think the Southside Malibu Spring Classic is on the same weekend as the Fish Fry.

Hey great more new friends to meet…the only board ill have is my new ride which is flying in on the plane with me…not tried it yet but it’s a stringer less super light pu blank with carbon rails, cerex/glass wrap with exposed cork deck. Maybe I’ll get to ride it on the day…not sure where we will settle yet, staying at in laws in cronulla for first few weeks but could end up up anywhere from there to stanwell. I’ve just got a job in Barden ridge so it opens up the possibilities for where to rent/buy. It goes without saying I’m going to need a big shed…

where did you end up deciding to move to rich?
I was planning on getting some boards there but i haven't had a chance to do anything fresh in a while.
i might bring along a couple of well used cork MPH inspired creations
I hope to get there but not sure ill make it ( work kids etc ). Will bring my JD keel fish if I do. Love to see a heap of fishy boards in one spot!!.
