Hey all,
My cousin picked up an old G&S SS Stepdeck for $300. It’s in reasonably good condition. Say maybe a 7+ or so. Good color, minimal dings and origional Wave set fin and it hasn’t been drilled for a leash. So when you pick it up and shake it a little rock it front to back, it gurgles. Sort of like a loose plate in a Fins unlimited box sliding back and forth. But it is clearly The Big old Wave Set box. If you look at the deck of the board above where the forward bolt hole is, you can see a bit of yellowing that kind of emanates from that spot. If you look at that forward bolt hole, it seems more rusty than the rear hole. I don’t think the board has been ridden much because of it’s good condition, so I don’t know that it is water running back and forth, and it seems like any water would just absorb into the foam.
Can/should this be fixed? How could it be fixed? Thought’s opinions… monetary offers…
