Wave Ski

A Bud has a wave ski and wants to sell it. It’s a winger with twin fin set up and includes the paddle and belt to hold yourself in. Anyone have any idea what he should ask for it?

Thanks in advance

Depends if it’s a production model, a handmade custom outta Florida, or a homemade jobber.

Mid board is worth the most, but only to someone looking for a wave ski, worthless to anyone else.

Islands in Florida charges $850 new with epoxy resin on styro core, just triple glassing, no sandwich or structural shell.

Any dings, is it a good shape around 6’6", and is it unstable when stopped so you gotta low brace and stick a foot out…

I know the guy that used to ride it. he was very good. It’s a south African design, but I think it may have been made here in Florida. I would say it’s about 6’8’’ to 6’10’'. I did not measure it. If there is an interest I can get pictures and arrange direct contact with the person selling it.

Thanks

I like the idea of wave skis, but I don’t need another watercraft laying around my garage.

Surfing is easier for me, since I’ve been doing it since '66, and if I ever get real lazy or old, I’ll revert to my 7’9" Bic.

Riding a wave kayak in the surf can be fun, but sorta dangerous to others, so I quit that too. Was fun cutting out of a wave and piroetting into a nose high 720, or just sticking the nose into the water and retendoing around the other side.

Oh well, you can’t do it all in the water, unless you live right on the beach retired with tons of time and energy.

it’s not true!

the wavski was not invented in poland.

the Inventor was not Vladmir Waveski.

nor was the jetski from Danzig origins!

and Valdemar Jetzki had nothing to do with

the sinking of that ferry in India.

…ambrose…

there are no fairies in India.

don’t believe everything you read

How much should he sell it for?

Start at $350…

If no one shows interest, you gotta consider parting with it for whatever…

If lots of interest, you’re good to go…

With absolutely no interest, you might tell him to store it or loan it to you so you can try it and make it popular!

Check out all the following site, should give him some idea. US waveski group

I am just helping him. I hate the things, they get in the way.
