Waveset Fin Needed - My Options?

Hello, It seems an original is basically not going to be found due to the material that was used so I search the archives and found information on temporarily doctoring other fins into the box, and also the source in Florida for a new fin (www.oneworldsurf.com). I would prefer a correct replacement (opposed to modifications) but the fin from FL would cost $150.00. Does anyone know of, or make a less expensive, direct replacement option? Thanks, Herb Bean

I had to get one one time and called three surf shops and all three shops had some old waveset fins lying around: Longboard House in Melbourne, FLA (ask for Skip) Chaunceys in Ocean City, MD (ended up selling me one for $75) and Surfer’s Supplies in Ocean City, NJ. (Ask for George) Good Luck

Hey, I Got a fin from Juan at One World. It’s a great fin, but it did cost $150, and it took quite awhile for him to finish it up. He only dose a small run of them and that’s when he can find enough people who want them… Good luck finding an old one. Colin

Thanks for the optimistic response. I’ll start calling those shops. Herb Bean

Hey Herb! I’ve got an old Waveset fin which I believed to be a Greenough stage 3 or 4 but was mistaken…Turns out it’s a G&S design, but genuine Waveset nonetheless…Email me if you get the chance…Perhaps I can Post a photo of it later, and think up a fair Swaylockian price…

Matt, I’m not sure how to find e-mail address through swaylock’s but mine is . Def send me a picture and the price you like to get. Happy New Year! Thanks, Herb B.
