Wax?

I forgot to order in some more surf wax with my last order and now am all out. With no surf shops around I was wondering if there is an alternative. Can I use car wax, any wax?

Parafin - candles - even crayons work in a pinch…

Parafin was all we used pre '68. Im thinking of going back as the new waxes are just too soft for me.

try some of skip fryes MAN WAX if you can get it. it looks like its pure parafin. have not used it yet though, it’s sitting on my shelf in collecter condition.
