Did something happen to him recently? I saw a flyer today at Ventura Surf Shop that described a benefit for the Wayne Rich Trama fund.
Anyone?

He’s still going strong, working on 4 new plugs for his own molded board line. His 4 High performance molded epoxy boards that are in production now are in the Ventura Surfshop. They are some of the best quality boards on the market today.
We’ve been riding his new Power Flex single fins this winter.
My husband told me Wayne needs neck surgery. He is doing limited work until the operation. Our thoughts and prayers go out to him.

I’ve had the opportunity to be a friend of Wayne for the last couple of years. He is a true craftsman and a really good person. I hope for a complete recovery. He rips too!
Breaking News!!!
Wayne’s surgery is over and he is resting and in great spirits!
He has strength already in his left arm and total feeling and moblity in legs and toes. Yes!!!
Half the battle is over and we want to continue to keep Wayne in our prayers for a speedy recovery.

I met Wayne about a month ago at Refugio and he is a very cool guy. Been prayin for him. Totally stoked that his surgery went good!
Anyone know where we can send him a get well soon card?
Scott
Stoked!
We’ll pray for a quick and trouble free recover.
Marc
good news indeed!
I spoke to Wayne about an hour ago and he’s doing very well and in good spirits - he even thinks they may send him home tomorrow. I love Wayne, he’s like the big brother I never had and he’s a gentleman and one of the true long-haul craftsmen in the industry.
This will probably go over like a fart in church but I’d like to see someone, a big industry leader, like Quicksilver or Billabong somehow offer affordable health care (not free) to shapers, glassers and other craftsmen in the industry.
Show your support for Wayne and get out to C street on the 7th. Also you can contribute over the internet…I’ll follow up with details on that shortly.
surfore, yes, details. Whats happening at C street on the 7th?
Thanks,
scott

Hi ScottFFF - Here are a couple of auction items that I saw today.
Michael Drury
John Comer
Had the pleasure of meeting Wayne a couple of years ago in Costa Rica at the world longboard comp there. A very nice guy! I am in a bad spot myself right now but can spare a $100, any idea where to send a check?
Thanks, Midget Smith

Thanks Midget!
So cool that Michael and Comer would kick in for Wayne…these guys have wowed me with their art for decades…good surfers too…it’s also great to see the surfing community rally around Wayne and validate what he does for folks out there.
Wayn’e my shaper bro forever and always. Get well my friend!!!
Hi easternpacific, I would like to send some product for the raffle. Would I send the stuff to Foam Fins and Fiber? Mahalo, Larry
