Have great memories of the late seventies surfing era which you were a part of. Clay Bennet is one also. Hey, do you remember Mike Oppenhiemer? He came out to San Diego in the mid seventies to stay for awhile , what a hot surfer! We made a board right in the livingroom of his Ocean Beach Apartment! Talk about back in the day, I’m sure you have many great stories we all would like to hear!! Thanks for participating here…
Oppy was great. Had he spent more time in competition he would have been recognized as an American great. We had some classic duels at Hatteras in the early '70’s. I have the utmost respect for his talent.
Greg, totally stoked to see you contributing to this forum. Your extensive epoxy knowledge will add a new dimension for sure. I still remember that tube you had at Pipe in “Fluid Drive”, insane!!!
I still remember it to. You should have seen it from my perspective.
It is good to see ya a part of the Swaylocks Forum… I only hope more true Craftsman step up and share the trade that we all live… Thanks Rob http://surfnwsc.com
