wetsuit??

hi, have anyone own or try a Boz wetsuit before, how is it comapare to other brand? how about the zipless ones, are they any good because i heard from people that they tear from the shoulder. thanks

I just wore my BOZ Maxum 3/2(short zip)for the first time yesterday. Last winter I got some good feedback from some friends using this suit so I e-mailed them. The designer/owner replied promptly and was most helpful. I believe he is from S. America and has roots in the U.S. wetsuit industry and decided to go at it on his own. I was pleased with the fit and overall comfort. This was an E-bay special I bought last July for $50.00 or so, it was worth the gamble even if it ended up getting cut down to a long sleeve springsuit. This one is 80% elasto-super-stretch neoprene which is a step up from my last suit, good fit and no chafing in the armpits or neck. Pay close attention to their sizing/weight charts, they run a bit larger than most brands. Good luck. I bought two on E-Bay as well. The 3/2.5 Maxxum short zip. There is a somewhat different neck edge material that is smooth and I didn’t think I’d like it but it hasn’t chafed or anything. Some of the seams are taped and after several uses, I had a slight problem with tape edges starting to peel so I glued it back with neoprene cement - nothing I haven’t had happen with an O’neil though. Warm, very comfortable and good fit - as Tom said, pay attention to size charts - they seem to be accurate. I also got booties and they seem comparable to anything I’ve tried out there. The sellers I dealt with on E-Bay were KME and Sportstop. Both delivered the goods and I didn’t have any return/exchange issues to contend with. I researched Boz and they are out of Peru but the suits are made in Taiwan, so if that is an issue, beware. http://www.bozwetsuits.com/

i have a 3/2 and a 4/3 – both taped – i think their top models for both – the fit is perfect at least for me – MT – i am 6’2" 180 and they fit pefect

I got a 3/2 Maxum short zip from ebay for $50 plus shipping and I really like it, fits well and that thing on the neck is really comfortable. Took a bit longer than usual to break into it but I love it now, if only I could find the 4/3 for that price!
