What is the best method of wetting out and wrapping laps without dry spots and/or over-saturation?

use a hard plastic (bondo) squeegee to pull out the excess resin. as for > the best way to wet them out…still lookin I make the resin(epoxy) thinner with aceton(only for the laps) I lay the laps on the deck and use a brush too wet out, then a squeese. The aceton evaporates within 20 min. Never tryed it with polyester. A 50% (weight) cloth too 60% resin, in theory, is the strongest composit. This is very hard too doo by hand.

I just wet out the laps than start rolling from top around the rail to the bottom. It uses less resin and its way cleaner (especialy for longboards). I learned that from an old board builder here in Santa Cruz Co. I use UV activated resin. Rf,Fs
