wow looks like they are really riding that one!
was over there a month ago and saw a whale just outside the lineup while surfing sunset one day and dropped in right over top of the biggest sea turtle i have ever seen on another day (turns out it wasnt a sea turtle but a monk seal!!!)
also when traveling through australia, surfed a place in victoria ‘japs beach’ that had more whales than people cruising though the lineup and the waves were epic!
