Hope the rest of the California folks caught some of those waves today. We paddled out at about 1:00 PM into some glassy shoulder high walls on a dropping tide. Within and hour sets were pushing well over double overhead. Four of us in the line up for almost an hour before the crowd showed up. Hope the Resinhead posts up a couple of shots. Thanks again John Mellor for a great surfboard!
I got big Dead Mans in SF with four guys out for 3hrs.
The only time I have ever enjoyed that spot.

same here. 10 am was on my run. surf was a sloppy 2-3 foot. went to work in my classroom. at 1pm came out and the surf was 10-12 and growing. lots of water and current. checked out some out of the way rare spots and they were getting it full on as well…
All I can say is, SWEEEEEET!!!

It was soo big ester was capping the oil rig …an easy 30+ foot.

a certain nearby reef was pushing 20 feet on the sets yesterday…some guys were out towing in.had real nice shape as well. probably the best spot of the day from what i saw…

Yeah, my bedroom window was rattling from about 10:45pm until about 4:00am…Took me a while to figure out what it was…Then I woke up again around 1:00am and walked outside and could smell and feel the mist in the air…Pretty cool.
