Where’s the nearest surf? I saw a news reporter doing a remote broadcast the other day from Tel Aviv(sp). Looked like there were ten or fifteen people surfing in the background. Saw a couple of good rides while he was talking. It looked fun. It’s good that Egypt and Israel are getting along. Although things are pretty tense with other neighbors. It would be nice if surfers could travel from one country to the other for a few waves. Yeah your gonna be staring at that board every day until you finally get it in the water.

Up on the north coast of egypt, alexandria and to the west of it there’s some spots. Almost nonexistant surfing community though so will definitely do a lot of exploring on my own. Pretty small waves usually though so will have to travel once i get good enough hahahaha

i have seen a taylor stell movie where they surf wind swell in egipt or is it cuba?
i know i have seen or read something?
can be sipping jetstreams or castles in the sky movie.
i remember clearly a picture shot from behind of a guy hiting the lip and cairo at the end of the day with the lights allready on.
5’6” twin fish. Single to double concave to slight reverse vee at the tail. Now the wait for some waves…

I have found these drum sanders to be a useful tool. I don’t foil on it. Just use it to clean up my outlines.
Nice shape. What are the dimensions on that?
8’5 x 20”. It’s what most would probably call a “Semi Gun”. Single to double concave that’s pretty noticeable. I left it fuller and thicker than most shapers would. In the Northwest more paddle power and float are necessary. Longer paddles to outside bars and heavy wetsuits. I am having it laminated and sanded in Epoxy. Then I will “post lam” the fins and leash plugs, logos etc.
