so my buddy is tired of working on his old Carl Ekstrom bat fin board and wants me
to take over from here and finish it out
from what i know about the board it was only made for a year or so
so does any one remembers seeing one of these back in the day and what colors they were
any info is much appreciated
i will post some pics a little bit later
thanks
A favorite color of Carl’s, was a very light opaque gray. I also recall seeing a very light dusty mint green. Very subtle colors. Well polished.
Carl is one of the coolest people in the world, and someone I admire a great deal. I plan on going to lunch with him soon and perhaps we can get him to chime in on this thread. He’s the real deal, and an unreal person.

So care to spill the beans on ACE-2?
I saw a very nice vintage Carl Ekstrom In a small shop in North Carolina. it was in near showroom condition. It was a transition era board with the old style Logo. a beutiful reverse lap root beer color with a pale yellow deck

You couls also give Carl a call and see what he has to say on what color choices would be best and fitting for that board.
