Did a search and I can’t find it. As I recall he builds some cool balsa/epoxy/eps boards. Hope the shipping charges aren’t too bad to the Mainland. Thanks, John
yeah he ships but it still costs to go across the ocean…
the airline charge you $50-$100 just to take one as luggage after you paid them for a seat…
Better hurry
I think he wants to cool it for the holidays soon…
remember
family first
business second
you can’t go wrong
oneula - Thanks. Cool boards - Have you ridden one? John
Yes
he me helped with two boards one urethane one custom stringered EPS.
he helped me build a gemini for my brother and helped my brother build an EPS 8’ from a custom blank he built.
my brother loves his two CMP boards and I love mine but they are not the same kind of boards as the rest of the balsa compsando’s cause he doesn’t use wood rails and in turn rail wraps his top balsa over the rail .
Anyone who’s done it will tell you it’s not an easy thing to do and makes a stiffer board.
So his boards are tougher, heavier and stiffer than what everyone else is doing.
My boards seemed a little heavy but my bamboo’d bottom 7’2" rides unreal… But in all honesty I prefer a slightly heavier board since I’m a tad slower at 50 yrs young, 5’8" and 195… Old and chunky you might say… But once I can get going don’t get in my way cause I do like to go as fast and as far down the line as possible on a wave. I guess you could say I prefer long horizontal (old school) over short vertical rides…
But they ride real nice and might last you the rest of your surfing career whether that’s good or bad…
No pressures for sure…
He claims he’s never had one returned or some one come back with complaints…
He’s also helped alot of folks out with this stuff he doing.
you’ll find alot of guys here he’s helped out in one way or another without asking for anothing in return…
To me that speaks more than anything else I’ve seen in this business…
