what the heck are these for(PICTURE)

I picked up blanks, lam resin, hotcoat, fins, fin plugs and other stuff needed for shaping and they put these things in with them. They are squishy foam and have a sticky side on the bottom

THAT’S MY SISTER’S I.U.D.HOW’D THEY GET IN THAT BOX…SHE CANT HAVE ANYMORE CHILFREN THIS COULD BE BAD SEND THOSE THINGS BACK QUICCKK IF NOT SOONER…AMBROSE

Keller- They stick around the holes that you drill for FCS plugs. They act as a dam, keeping resin from running all over the board when you install the plugs. They also keep enough resin around the plugs so that you don’t get air bubbles. -Carl

thta’s the tecate tapeworm that they pulled out of KP!!

I really need some…no, not the tape worm. Does anyone know where I could get the a blank sheet. I need to cut some perfectly straight dams to sharpen my edges.

They’re edible. But first-time shapers use them as masking tools. That’s right, tear off pieces and stick them to your face. Use them to mask off your eyebrows, lips, the outline of your nose and if you have the music turned up real loud and are “feelin’ it” you can also mask off some cat whiskers. THEN, the best part: Paint your face. All first-time shapers do this. Go to the Archives for the right ratios. Water-based is most common but some have used Spray Paint.(lasts longer). Start with lighter colors and finish with darker. A tiger motif would be cool as well as certain primates and sea creatures. Ask anyone here, that’s how we do it… …then PROUDLY show all your friends. I did, but I’m still glad.

Hey Lee - lots of joking going on here but assuming you’re serious about wanting to use something like this on your edge boards – I have used foam tape for that purpose with pretty good results, and you don’t have to cut it out of sheet-sized material. If you want to try some, swing on by, I have plenty…
