After a number of days of inability to login to SWAYLOCKS, I can now, but it is a roundabout process! Anyone know what happened? Mike, Mod’s? Hacked? Crashed?

Thanks Mike for your efforts to resolve these issues. Swaylocks is still the Gold Standard among Surf related websites. Was able to use the new login page . Thanks again. Raining and stormy today in the Northwest, but that’s old news. Lowel.
What happened? I’m not really sure. Frankly, swaylock’s software is a bit like an old Ford running on the 5 during rush hour. Something on the server changed or some parasite got in the works or god farted. I don’t know. Suddenly login stopped working with no errors to help diagnose. My only solution was to pull out some wires connecting the classifieds to the forums. Now they run independenly, hence the new funky login page.
I am in talks with some guys about migrating Swaylock’s to a new platform. Alas…change is weird, growth is good.

PLEASE Mike, if you decide to change the forum to a new platform please DO not use one of those templates that are “too busy” for the eye. They are really bad designed. Think in most forums not surf forums, almost all look ugly and unpleasant.
So if you can manage to maintain a CLEAN template like this will be the best.

I have to believe there are still plenty of people unable to log on. Its just too quiet around here.
I tried to find a past thread using the Swaylocks search function, repeatedly was unable. Finally went on Yahoo and did a search from there, and it came up.
There is still a glitch in the Matrix. Did I just see that cat again?
