Hey guys, new to forum. I just started surfing about a month ago and have fell in love with it. Took me 36 years to give it a try. Glad I didn’t wait much longer.
Here is my question. My buddy has a older Natural Art board, 6’8", 3 fin design. Can anyone tell me what type of fin system this is and where I can get fins for this board? Pictures are attached. I have had no luck with Natural Art. I have taken the board to numerous surf shops and they are completely puzzled and can’t provide any help. They tell me just to fiberglass in some fins but he really doesn’t want to go that route unless the fins are unavailable.
We are heading out to Folly Beach this weekend and he would really like to find a set before going.
I don’t know the fins for that, but heres a suggestion. measure the holes and make your own fins. try acrylic, its easy. theres tons of previous posts on the subject of making fins and i’m sure it would look beter with a set of custom fins on it
I was using epoxy… the board was dry already but i hadnt cut laps yet… was getting too hot in my DEVO suit so I took a break. and took some pics of everything “in the process”
Thanks for the input guys. So I take it these fins are no longer available? If not, I will take up Scotts idea about making them and making them work with what he has on the board. All the blanks we looked at are to thin for the gap.
Talk to Lokbox about it, they can probably provide the fins. Although I think it was actually called something else back then when the Bahnes still owned it.
