What's going on in Redondo Beach?

I saw in the news that there are millions of dead sardines in a Redondo Beach harbor.  Just curious if anyone down that way has seen it, or if there is any evidence of what happened and why?  Don't always get all the news on the news.  The news is calling it a natural phenomenon, but not really explaining it.

Supposedly there was a red tide(algae bloom) just off shore; the fish swam into the harbor to avoid it and then the storm blew through with high winds and swell, trapping the fish in the harbor and because there was so many fish packed into a small area, they used up all the available oxygen in the water causing a massive die off.

Either that or Armageddon is just around the corner...........

Resinhead couldn't find any seals that day ;)

It’s all those SUPers.  They whack the fish when they paddle causing massive die offs.  :-)  I heard the EPA was trying to prosecute Blaine Chambers, seeing as how he is the leader of this cult

Hey Huck.  Are you from there?  Do you know Mario Loza?  I used to surf there a bit in the 90’s aye fun good crew loved Burn Outs when it was on!!!
