Whats the going price for resin pins and glosscoats

If you are doing that well and all is cool;  I guess we won’t have to hear you complain in the future.  Oh;  And I’ve done my share of “Bro” deals.  And I don’t complain about the fact that I’ve lost money on every one of them.  You do stuff that is detail and time consuming for free,  you are losing money.  A bar of wax is friggin’ nothin’ when you are buying it by the case.  Spending several hours on pinlines or giving someone an upgrade without charging for time and materials is just flat stupid.  Hey bro if it strokes your ego;  What do I care.  Buena suerte.

One Shot is oil based but is the real deal used by the hot rod stripers. Acrylic just doesn’t lay down right and seems to drag. I did some (rudimentary /amatuer brush lines using One Shot. Sprayed a light coat of acrylic over them and they glossed fine. I may take some lessons from a local sign painter/pinstripe Guru.

What the hell…i am building boards for my own pleasure. Might as well waste some more time and money. RB

One Shot is great stuff, used to use it a lot painting bikes and signs. Great stuff to work with, thin it a bit, load up your brush and it just flows. I can’t pull it off like the pros so I maily mask stuff off. It’s a lost art being able to pull pins like those old school hot rod guys.

I did a couple of pins on my boards and it worked great. I just did it right on top of the hot coat, not as appealling as under a gloss but it does the job on my crappy cut laps. It’s super durable too.

Awesome, thanks all. Words of wisdom from the best.

Mr Refurb...reverb....time to move to California......time to whore your self out.....you can do Bikes and Hot Rods all day long and make 2-3 hundred per job instead of "for free".....this time McDing is right....you do nice work. You're in the wrong business. Stop giving it away. People pay good money for this stuff.
