a big, hairy wolf spider… fell out of my wettie as I was putting it on in my outdoor shower where I hung it after a surf the day before.
Gave me the willies for the entire session…

I found a live anchovy in my suit after I came up after a wipeout…
just glad I didn’t squish it
the worst part was getting it out while there were 6-8’ers breaking on my head and 60 degree water
well when i was 14 i decided it would be hilarious if my friend and i let a school of baitfish go in the ocean water pool. we took the sien net out and got a decent sized school, which we proceed to pack our pockets with. We ran the 100yards to the pool. we dove in and let those little buggers go. It actually wasn’t really bait fish but very young bluefish and Mossbunkers. It turned out that i hadn’t emptied my pockets and there were still a few in there as i put on my wet suit to go out for a surf. they started wiggling and it was quite weird.
when my supervisor found out that it was me this past year she had a good luagh about it, she had been working that day.
