Today I saw this incredible sanding tool made by Pleskunas. It was 24" x 2" with carbide discs and was curved so you could sand down a nice concave. I also saw a convex one too. Unfortunately I missed out on buying them before they were snatched up. So I’ve searches I’ve tried to find these dang things has turned up empty. What entries I did find were old.
DOES ANYONE KNOW WHO MIGHT HAVE THESE???
Or if anyone has another idea on a similar usefull tool OR have made one themselves. I’d appreciate the input.
i bought the convex one, but really wanted the concave one...
i didn't realize the other guy ..a super weinie, had automative bid
of always $1 more than me..but if you go $10 more it doesn't kick in.
that's how i beat him out last minute..
yeah i contacted fbh.. for the concave...$75 new but worth it
later..i gotta go paddle lake jaxatlantic to a nice fishing spot... ;-)

Hi, There used to be a tool to do both, made for body shop specialist, basically it was a load of thin movable slats that were bolted together, thus allowing for adjustment to any shape , concave or convexed . I'm sure it was in a catalogue that had Norton abrasives in, I'll try and find a picture .
Thanks everyone, I really appreciate the quick responces.
I did find and made a call to Fiberglass Hawaii and ordered the concave tool. I’m looking forward to using it on my next noserider.
I’m going to make a 9’4" noserider similar to the old Jacobs 422 with the taper to a narrow kind of tail (Zeph makes one called the IsIs and Tyler makes one called the Riddler). So here is another question… any ideas about where to make that transition from the wide body to the narrower tail? I’m kinda thinking one third up from the tail with a 1.75 inch cut in (if that makes sence). Overall a 21" nose, 24" mid, 15.5" tail.
